Light reading
Slate is running a series of selections from Clive James's new book, Cultural Amnesia, a collection of essays on 20th century intellectuals and artists. Today's piece is a short examination of Jorge Luis Borges' blindness to the abuses of the Pinochet regime in Argentina.
