After having set it up several weeks ago, I've finally started posting to my East Lansing Lit Mags blog.
So, along with Revelator and Wordwright, that makes three, although EL Lit Mags will probably be more of an archive for the information I've been digging up than a blog per se, but that may depend on what sort of comments I get. I know I have some interesting anecdotes from various sources, so if it seems like people are stopping by, maybe I'll find a way to work those in somehow.

Is that a request, or is it indicative of a deeper search for meaning through ancient Greek philosophy or the gospel according to John?
(I haven't been to the library yet, so I haven't dug anything up on Logos.)

also--i wish i had copies of htese old mags! where can i get them / you should scan them as pdf files...
because i'm feeling nostalgic!
There's a complete (through 2001, anyway) set of The Offbeat in the MSU Library's Special Collections. I also have copies of all of the pre-MSU Press copies of The Offbeat except for the Fall 1999 issue. Special Collections and I also have near-complete collections of Oats. Probably more importantly, I know that the Library has the issue of Oats that I'm missing, and I may have a copy that the Library doesn't have. (Maybe not. I may have plugged all their holes, even if it didn't quite feel right to ask for the library's extra copy of the issue that I'm missing.)
I'd love to post PDFs of The Offbeat, but I lost all of the design files in a hard drive crash in 2001. I have the Quark files from Offbeat/1, but that one is owned by the MSU Press, and you can buy all of the MSU Press issues through Amazon.com.
I knew M. G. (Mike) Lee through Arthur Athanason. He read at a couple of Offbeat events.
now i have a reason to go t the library and sit in special collections with the little gloves on!
